The story of Sales begins back in 1886 in Via Madama Cristina in Turin, where the production of labels and bags began. S.A.L.E.S.or Societa Anonima Lavorazione Etichette e Sacchetti. In those days, the labels were the printed tags that were inserted into the string that sealed bags of grain and seeds. From that era of pioneering craftsmen, SALES became a brand, synonymous of quality, research and development, and in the 1960s it became an industry with the factory in Via Chivasso in Rivoli and the start production of self-adhesive labels and reinforced and special envelopes. Many innovations and patents took place over that years and, after the invention of padded envelopes, comes another idea that revolutionised the market: the first reinforced notepad and note pads under the Rambloc brand. Sales also has a self-adhesive labels division that grows and becomes reference in cosmetics packaging and for safety products. In 2002, Sales becomes ISO 14001 certified and initiates another objective: the reducing the environmental impact of industrial activities and offering sustainable products. In 2009 came FSC certification and in 2018 becomes one of the first graphic/paper companies in the world to be certified B Corp. The commitment is reinforced in 2020 with the transformation to a Benefit Company. A constantly evolving path, where the goal is always to make the way and never follow it, to offer products and services to those customers who believe in a better way of doing things, for themselves and for all of us.
